The Understory brings together adaptive academics, nature, movement, creativity, entrepreneurship, relationships, and real-world projects in a future-facing whole-child model.
The Growth Map
Progress is made visible across eight dimensions: Mind, Body, Character, Relationships, Courage, Creativity, Purpose, and Wonder. Evidence can include academic growth, projects, milestones, observations, and student reflection.
The Role of Technology
Technology works quietly in the background to make academics more responsive and efficient—giving children more time for deeply human learning.

The model is being developed with room for educators, families, researchers, funders, and community partners who believe school should measure trajectory, not merely compliance.
