The Problem
Founders often spend as much time finding trusted people, customers, capital, and resources as they spend building the company itself. The work can be isolating precisely when honest peers matter most.
Jeremy’s Role
Jeremy co-founded the Milwaukee Founders Community in 2021 during his time at NEWaukee, beginning with Founder/Fest and a belief that the startup ecosystem should be led by founders themselves.
The Model
The community combines candid gatherings, peer relationships, useful introductions, and practical access to customers and capital. It is intentionally decentralized and built around participation rather than hierarchy.
The Human Outcome
A founder no longer has to carry every uncertainty alone. Informal conversations become introductions, customer opportunities, funding pathways, or simply the feeling of being understood by someone doing similarly difficult work.
The Continuing Legacy
The network continues as Midwest Founders Community: free and open to founders, regionally focused, and organized around community, capital, customers, and celebration.
